Hypnotic chaos”

You have fast reflexes? You can beat any game? You rank atop all of the leader boards? Well try proving yourself with Super Hexagon!
Super Hexagon is a PC and iOS title (with an android version planned) from the creator of  VVVVVV Terry Cavanagh, and includes music from Chipzel. You are a small ship, and your goal is to simply avoid obstacles at a breakneck speed all while you listen to fantastic electronic music.

There are several stages with varying degrees of difficulty, but in order to play the harder levels, you must survive to a set time on the previous courses. And that is what you will be doing, surviving. Super Hexagon is an extremely fast experience. When you first begin to play you may think the first 10 seconds are easy, but you just won’t be ready for the sense of speed and level design that happens after those first 10 seconds. But soon enough you will be amazed at how quickly you are able to react to the mazes that show up in later portions.

The more you play SH the better you will find yourself doing. It is an extremely satisfying feeling when you beat your previous best time with each run. Visually the game is retro all the way, with simple geometric shapes, but the manner in which the stages reflect the music is very cool. With great music, perfect level design, unmatched speed, and a true sense of progression, Super Hexagon is the perfect handheld experience. Watch the video below for a real sense of the chaos that awaits the player. -Chuck
